At first I traveled to satisfy my curiosity and discover the world. Along the way I discovered that traveling can be much more than that. When you’re on the road you’re stripped from most of your material possessions. Even your past achievements have little significance to those you meet. Traveling confronts you with yourself and teaches you what life really is about. Photography allows me to document the people and places I encounter on my travels.
In 2009, after working for three years at Google in Dublin, I decided to take some time off to fulfill a dream I’ve had for a long time: take a one-way flight to Sydney and make it back to Europe without boarding a single airplane. It took almost one year to cross the 22 countries on the way, and it was the best experience I’ve been through so far.
My work has been featured in several exhibitions. Large format prints are available on request. At the moment I’m based in San Francisco and work for Google Photos as a Product Marketing Manager.
