In September 2009 I decided to leave my job and to book a one way ticket to Sydney. My only rule was to make it back to Europe without taking a single flight.
It took me 273 days through the natural beauty of Australia, the heat of South-East Asia in Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos and Northern Vietnam, the contradictory modern China and the spiritual high plateau of Tibet. I then crossed Central Asia and its mysterious countries: Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Azerbaidjan. Georgia and Turkey were my last encounters before finally reaching Europe.
